December 26, 2011, Whitney turned 20!
Who would have imagined how fast time flies.
Katelyn made her a banner for her birthday. She had spelled it "Borthday", so she quickly fixed all the o's and made them i's. Whitney spent much of the day with Sid, so we didn't have much of a party. Sid took her to breakfast and bought her a tank and some fish. We all went to Chuck-a-Rama for lunch and bought her birthday (cheese)cake at Sam's. We gave her some money for a new i-pod touch and she left again with Sid. Having a birthday the day after Christmas isn't the funnest, but I remind her all the time that it was her choice. I wasn't expecting her until mid-January and she wanted to come early, so it is her fault. We love and adore Whitney and have had so many fun memories with her. We expect that this year will be a big one for change--we welcome that. We are excited to see where life takes her next.
