Whitney Homecoming 2009--Springville High

Whitney didn't get to go to Homecoming at Maple Mountain High, but she did get asked by a neighbor kid to go to Springville's. They came in the morning and took the girls out to breakfast and bowling. After giving them plenty of time to get ready for the dance, they came back and got them when they were all dressed up and took them to dinner and then the dance. Whitney wasn't feeling well, so she opted out of going to a movie after the dance. She had a fun time.

Hike to Stewart Falls

We went on a beautiful hike up to Stewart Falls on Friday. The kids had the day off of school and so we decided to go on this hike that we have wanted to do for a long time. Whitney and Landon would not go with us on the hike, but they went up on the lift and then back down and back home--teenagers.
If you go up to Sundance, you can buy a lift ticket and go up to the top of the mountain and there is this great hike to Stewart Falls that is 3 miles round trip. The falls are so pretty and we picked a great time to go. The leaves were changing and the lift ride was so pretty and so peaceful. We had a great time hiking with the youngest three kids.
