STARTING OVER!!

To say that we have been through our share of trials in the past few years would be an under-statement.  We didn't think we would get the opportunity to have a home of our own for another couple of years.  I saw Sara Snow at the high school a few weeks ago and we got talking.  She said her son, Ryan had a home for sale and that he might be willing to do owner financing.  We called him not expecting things to actually work out in our favor.  We went and looked at the home and met with Ryan and his wife Debra.  They were willing to finance the home for us and within a couple days we had the money for the down payment and we were under contract.  To say that we are happy for this new beginning would also be an understatement.  We are over the moon.  We love the home and the neighborhood and we feel like it is where we are supposed to be.  We are so excited for the chance to begin again.  The kids picked out their bedrooms with no fighting.  We hope to be moving in within the next couple weeks!!

SUMMER FUN!

Bad pictures.  I haven't had a free moment to breathe this Summer so I am combining a lot of things in one post.  The pictures are in no particular order.  Right after Landon graduated from Springville High, we moved to Roosevelt.  We left the place we loved and moved the family so we could be back together again.  We stayed at a couple hotels and swam.  We went and saw Wicked again.
We went to the Cargill family reunion at Dan and Polly's farm.  Tracy's cousin Crystal led the kids on a fun scavenger hunt and the kids found some treasure at the end.
We loaded up the mattress and the remaining kids we have at home and went to the drive in movie.
Hayden suffered a bee sting and his foot swelled to twice its normal size.
We went to baptisms for Haven, Hadley and Kailee.  We unfortunatley missed Jaiven's but we stopped and saw them and saw their sweet baby Taislee a few weeks before the baptism.  At Kailee's baptism, the girls found it fun to dress Tracy up and as always, he was a great sport.  We sure love our family.
We rode paddle boats at Dan and Polly's farm.  Jill and I rode out in the boat and Jill caught a huge toad.  I wish I had a picture of that.
Grandma McQuivey, otherwise known as Grandma Cookie turns 90 on September 10.  The cousins celebrated her life at a party at my cousin Jace's.  She is a wonderful lady.  I love how the cake had cookies around the edges--nice tribute to my sweet Grandma.
What a wonderful family I have been blessed with.  I have a great husband and five beautiful children. Landon graduated from high school and moved into the next chapter of his life.
