HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION!

WHITNEY DID IT! SHE GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL--THE FIRST GRADUATING CLASS FOR MAPLE MOUNTAIN HIGH SCHOOL. WHITNEY GRADUATED WITH HONORS (3.5-3.69 GPA). WE ARE SO EXCITED TO SEE WHERE HER LIFE IS GOING TO TAKE HER. SHE IS ALREADY MILES AHEAD OF MOST OF THE KIDS HER AGE. SHE HAS BEEN SO DRIVEN AND HAS WORKED SO HARD AND GIVEN UP SO MUCH TO BE WHERE SHE IS. EVEN THOUGH HAVING CHILDREN GRADUATE MAKES ME FEEL OLD, WE ARE SO PROUD OF HER.
AFTER GRADUATION WE WENT TO GOODWOOD BARBEQUE IN OREM TO EAT. AT THE GRADUATION WHITNEY HAD MOM, DAD, LANDON, ALEXA, HAYDEN, KATELYN, GRANDMA AND GRANDPA MCQUIVEY, GRANDMA AND GRANDPA ROSS, MIKE, MISTY, AMMARON, HAVEN, ANNICA AND KAEL, TONYA, KYRA, BRIANA AND KEATON AND WHITNEYS FRIENDS BRYSON, SKYLER AND COLBY. THERE WERE MANY OTHER AUNTS, UNCLES AND COUSINS THAT REALLY WANTED TO BE THERE BUT COULDN'T AND SENT HER WELL WISHES, CARDS AND LOVE.
WHITNEY GOT LOTS OF GIFTS AND CARDS. WHEN ANNICA CAME OVER TO GIVE WHITNEY HER CARD SHE ALSO WANTED TO SING WHITNEY A SONG--SHE SANG 'I AM A CHILD OF GOD' AND IT WAS DARLING CUTE--SHE SANG ALL NIGHT.
WHITNEY IS THE ONE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STAGE ACCEPTING HER DIPLOMA IF YOU COULDN'T TELL. SHE ALSO IS UP ON THE SCREEN IN ONE OF THE SHOTS. I WAS TRYING TO RUN THE VIDEO CAMERA AND THE STILL CAMERA AND DIDN'T DO A GOOD JOB WITH EITHER ONE. I TOTALLY FORGOT TO GET A NICE STILL SHOT OF HER IN HER ROBES AFTER GRADUATION. EITHER WAY, WE ARE SO PROUD OF HER AND WE LOVE HER SO MUCH.

SEMINARY GRADUATION

Here is our sweet Whitney right before her Seminary graduation and after her graduation with Grandpa and Grandma Ross. Of all of Whitney's accomplishments in her short life so far, this is one of the things that I am the most proud of. She has worked hard to get to where she is but the most important thing in her life is going to be the foundation that she has built and I am proud of her for building it right.

MY BABY'S KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION!

Katelyn had her kindergarten graduation program on Friday May 21, 2010. I can't believe that my baby is done with kindergarten and my oldest is graduating from high school in a few days. Katelyn's class did a cute little program where they sang some songs and recited some poems about some of the stuff they learned this year. Katelyn had a line where she said "We learned that I like being me".

Alexa's Final Choir Concert

Alexa had her final choir concert of the year this week. If you look close, she is on the front row 4 or 5 girls in from the left. They did some really fun numbers. Choir is a really good outlet for kids to meet some good kids--hopefully she keeps doing choir through the years.
