Hayden's fort

Hayden and Katie had gone to grandma and grandpa's for a week at the end of June. Tracy and I went down to pick them up at the beginning of July. When we got back, Whitney had cleaned Hayden and Katie's room. She moved Landon's geko upstairs into Katie's room so that it would actually be taken care of. I wish she would have taken before and after pictures. She also cleaned Hayden's room and it was a disaster. He had a bunch of boxes scattered all over the place--he said it was his "game". Whitney had rearranged his room and she took the boxes and made him this cute box fort. He was so thrilled. Whitney begs him to hug her and snuggle with her all the time and he doesn't often do it, but when he saw this he was over-the-moon! Whitney got lots of hugs and kisses that day. What a sweet sister and what a great idea!

 

 

 

 

 

HAPPY 14TH ALEXA

Alexa had been in Colorado with one of her friends for a few days before her birthday. She had mentioned once that she thought it would be fun to have a surprise party, Hayden and Katie were with grandma and grandpa McQuivey, so we decided that this would be the perfect year. We collaborated with one of her friend's (Olivia) mom. Alexa and Olivia seem to think they are long lost twins. They were both born in American Fork, Alexa on June 30th and Olivia on July 1st.
Olivia's mom bought pizza, cupcakes and goodies. We provided the house, decorations and our resident stylist-Whitney. Whitney put in feather extensions in each girls hair and she did her Sheekee toes on the girls nails. It was a lot of work for her, but the girls watched Pocahontas and when they were all glammed up, they danced around and had fun.
Alexa has really built up a good group of friends and they have such a good time together. That is one of the biggest things I will miss if we end up sticking to our plan to move. Such a fun time, such cute girls...Happy 14th Alexa!!

Oh... Landon came home right at the end and Whitney sat him down and tried out one of the sticker selections on his big toe. She took it right back off, but he was glammed up for a minute. Good times.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

HAYDEN IS 9

Where has the time gone? Hayden turned 9 on June 7! What a kid.
For Hayden's birthday, Tracy took him and a few friends to 7-peaks for a fun time. After swimming, they came home and opened presents. Sweet Whitney had made him cupcakes and they turned out darling. I have amazing kids!
