Finally a Christmas post

Finally, we are at Christmas. The pictures are out of order, as usual, but you get the idea. We had our Christmas on Christmas eve because Tracy had to leave that night to go back out to work. On our Christmas-eve, we had a visit from Santa and one of his reindeer. I love how the little kids get into this. Santa did not have his beard on and he is in his pajamas, but he is really thinking that this is funny and that he is pulling one over on us. Santa brought us a small gift that Bonnie helped read the poems for and then he left us to our other festivities. We opened our Christmas pajamas and got into them before reading the Christmas story in Luke and leaving our cookies and milk for Santa's return.
There is the Christmas day picture of everyone in their pajamas looking groggy. When we went into the living room, we found that Santa had come and he left us a brochure and a note to each person saying that he is sending us to Disneyland for a family vacation in April. Everyone is excited for that and we are looking forward to that trip. Our Christmas wasn't huge again this year and I really prefer it that way. We did get some fun gifts from the grandmas and grandpas and from each other and we just had an enjoyable day.

Hiking after Thanksgiving

I know these posts are out of order and it has been a long time since these were taken, that is just been the way life is. During the Thanksgiving break, we went down to Toquerville to be with the McQuiveys. We went hiking just before we had to leave to come back home. Here are some of the pictures from our hike. I love being with family and seeing how everyone interacts and treats each other. I love the pictures of Landon holding Delaney's hand while they are hiking, he treats the little ones so nice. We are thankful for families and the memories that we make together.
