Whitney's hair

Whitney decided that she wanted to chop her hair off again. Last time she did that, she ended up hating it, so I tried to talk her out of it, but she was set on it. It does look really cute and at least for right now, she loves it. She did this right after Senior pictures--just in case she would hate it. Now she will probably want re-takes so that she has pictures with her short hair.

Cute girls

When we were at Cam and Julie's, we packed up to head to the park to have lunch before swimming and Hayley and Sierra wanted to come with us and Hayden went with Bracken. When I turned around, I noticed that that made us a car full of cute girls, so I snapped a couple of pictures.

T-ball

Hayden and Katie have been playing on the same t-ball team this year and they have had a great time. I have been bad at getting any pictures, but here is a few shots of them on the second to last game of the season.

Grandma and Grandpa's garden

Katie loves to garden and going to Grandma's she felt right at home. She helped to pick the fruits and veggies and we had a fun time eating the fruits of her labors. I love their little shed in their back yard.

The view from Cam and Julies

We went to Cam and Julies to take a tour. I didn't get any pictures of the inside of their house, but here are some of the views from the outside. Kanab is really pretty in its own way. The family seems to be getting settled and making some memories and they have a really nice, fun house.

Kanab

Alexa has been planning a trip to go down to visit Grandma and Grandpa for a month. We finally went down with Alexa, her friend Kassidy, Hayden, Katie and mom. I was just going to drive them down and leave the older girls for the week, but we ended up going over to Kanab to see Cam and Julie's new house and we went to the water park there. We ended up having so much fun that we stayed for several hours. By the time we got back to Toquerville, it was dinner time, so we grabbed pizza and had a lazy night and decided to head home in the morning. We had a really great time. The park there is georgeous as well as their new pool. It was so nice to have the older girls there so that they could watch the kids a lot--they seemed to enjoy themselves.

SNAILS!

One of the funnest parts of being at Grandma and Grandpa McQuivey's house is collecting snails. My parents have a ton! My mom offered my kids 1 penny per snail. Katie is the ultimate snail capturer. We caught them and put them in a bucket of soapy water (After Alexa had killed a bunch on a paper plate with salt--slow torture). Grandpa paid out nearly two dollars with Katie getting nearly $1.50 and Hayden nearly .50 cents. GROSS.

Katelyn's first lost tooth!!

Katie lost her first tooth last week. She has been wiggling it for a while and the other night, it finally just popped out. She was so excited--I love her face in some of these pictures. My kids are growing up!!

Hayden's 7th Birthday Party!!

Hayden's birthday is on Sunday, so we decided to celebrate it today (June 5, which is actually his cousin Brooklyn's birthday). He had a water party too and the kids had a ton of fun. I just love these mischievious little boys--just look at their faces, they are full of it. I had gone to have Whitney do my hair and Tracy had taken Landon to a basketball game and when I came home with the balloons, Alexa had already started the decorating. She should be an event planner, she is so thoughtful. She had written Happy Birthday in sidewalk chalk on the front porch and she decorated her balcony with a banner and some caution tape. I brought home Sponge-Bob cupcakes and Dinosaur balloons, so nothing really matched, but the kids had a great time playing in the water.
Time is just flying by--I can't believe that my kids are getting so grown up. I will have 2 in high-school, one in Jr. high and 2 in elementary next year. The oldest graduating from high school and Cosmetology school and the youngest graduating from Kindergarten.

Landon's Basketball tournament

Landon and Whitney are going to the new Maple Mountain High School this coming year. Whitney will graduate as a Golden Eagle instead of a Red Devil. We are pretty excited. Landon has been going to open-gym for the high-school. They participated in the Payson Summer Shoot-out this week. Landon is #10. He has done pretty well. He even made a few 3 pointers. He still needs to build up strength in his knee, stamina in his lungs and confidence on the court. At Merit Academy, when they did one thing wrong, they got pulled out of the game, so he doesn't dare take very many chances. The first couple of times that he would shoot and miss, he would look over at his coach like 'crap, do you want me to come out'. He is attending a Basketball camp at BYU in a few weeks and I think that he will learn a lot and just get stronger.

Alexa's early Birthday party!

Alexa always hates that her birthday is the end of June and she usually can't get very many friends who are around then, so she wanted to have an early party on the last day of school. I didn't get very many pictures. She had decorated the downstairs really fun and she had a great time playing in the water. I can't believe that she is going to be 12.

Alexa's 6th Grade Graduation

Alexa finished her last year at the elementary and so they had a short graduation ceremony. Here she is with a couple of her friends and again in the hall holding her diploma.

Katie and Tabby

The other day, I came into the family room to find Katie asleep with Tabby scrunched down by her and Tabby was napping too. It is funny that Katie is the roughest one with Tabby, but she seems to love Katie the most.
