4th in State
Sorry, I don't have any pictures because I have no idea where my camera is at this point. I have one to many things going on. Landon had his Charter School State championship basketball tournament Friday and Saturday. They lost their first game and had to play another one right after it. They ended up winning that one. The team they were pitted against first thing Saturday is a team they lost to both times they played them. Merit (Landon's team) really had their act together though and they ended up beating them by 12 points (60-52)this time. They had to play another one after that and they just couldn't find their groove and frankly, I think the coaches had given up by that point--I don't think they had much faith that they would get as far as they did. So, we lost and that put us in 4th out of 7 teams. I don't think that is too bad considering that it is our first year as a school. I think that if they all work hard during the summer, they will be pretty good next year.

Hayden's lost tooth
After Paul & Cami posted that Brooklyn had finally lost her tooth, I commented that I didn't think that Hayden even had any that were anywhere close to being loose. One day I looked and he had one of his front teeth very loose and the new one is a quarter of the way grown up behind it. So this morning he woke up with it bugging him and I finally convinced him to let me pull it out--he has been so excited for the tooth fairy to come.

Productive days
The last couple of days have been pretty productive because I have just let everything with the business go and started to clean up. I have some great neighbors (Mani, Rosalyn & Jillanna--we used to be in the RS presidency together) who came over yesterday and asked to be put to work. I had them help with the two worst rooms in the house (not including the teenagers rooms). We got Katies room cleaned really well and they helped me de-junk the playroom. Jillanna and I were upstairs cleaning up the Kitchen and getting a load of dishes in and by the time I got downstairs, Mani and Rosalyn had several bags to give to DI and several bags of trash--I don't even dare look and I figure it does not matter anyway--they are gone. Less to clean up and less mess. Thank you so much ladies.
Today I started on the garage so that I can start stacking stuff out there. I got one whole area cleaned and the main areas all washed down--now just the shelves by the door. I am still hopeful that we can work something out with our mortgage company. If not, it is clean for someone to look at, if so, it is clean for me to enjoy.

Sweethearts Dance
Here is Whitney ready to go to Sweethearts dance on Valentines day. They could not be serious in the pictures--they have too much fun. They were pretending to fly in a couple of them--if you can't tell. They had a great time though and that is all that counts.
Just when I think that I can't go on
I wanted to say THANK YOU to my mom and dad for coming up this weekend and helping me so much. I know that most, if not all of you, know the struggles we have been having lately. This economy is horrible. It knocked us completely out of business. We went from having $300-400,000 in equity in our equipment to having that much of a short fall just on the few remaining pieces--in just a matter of months. We obviously can't afford the shop now and so it is being forclosed on.
We have decided to call it all quits. We are selling our cabin property, our home, anything we can sell and we are going to start over again. It is just getting through this time that requires more than I have to give.
I am constantly on the verge of a nervous breakdown and my parents knew it, so they came up and helped us to clean up the house and they took some things to try to sell to get a little extra cash. I just want to say how appreciative I am for that and that I am thankful for all the love and support.
My dad gave me a wonderful blessing before he left (and he gave Tracy one too). It all still stinks, but I do feel much better and I feel like I might be able to start accomplishing something now.

Draper Temple Openhouse
Today we went to the Draper Temple Openhouse. All of us, except for Landon who went snow boarding with a friend. We had a good time. The Temple is so beautiful, especially on the inside. This is the 12th operating Temple in Utah. It was such a good experience, even though we have gone to other openhouses before, the older kids didn't remember much and it was nice to be able to let them see the inside and talk to them a little about the importance of Temples.
