Whitney was just stewing because she had not been asked to Homecoming yet and we got a knock at the door. There was a box, nicely wrapped on the front porch that had a note on it that read: "There are a 100 reisens why you should go to Homecoming with me". Inside the box was full of reisens candy and there was a picture taped to the bottom of who was asking. The kid that asked her is named Colton--his sister helped to teach drill team last year and Whitney has gone out with him a few times. I think he was waiting a while to see if Jason was going to ask, but I guess you snooze, you lose. The sad thing is that it is Jason's birthday today and she was making cupcakes to take up to his house when she got asked--she was debating if she should tell him on his birthday or wait.
We baked Colton a cake (one of those that you drizzle carmel on and put whipped topping and heath bars on) We put the heath bars in a YES and left a note that said "I can't think of one reisen why I wouldn't go to Homecoming with you". I will probably have some great ideas by the time anyone else's kids get old enough. Now we just need to work on a dress.

I am glad she got asked (although I KNEW she would!) Who would pass Whit up??? So I though her and Jason were done? Maybe I missed a step?? You'll have to fill me in... Have fun looking for a dress. You should buy one of Ericka's old ones they are in MINT condition, and only wore them once! My Mom paid on average $300-$400 a pop for each one! Let me know....
Cute ideas;) I want to know about Jason too. I think it's good if they still like each other that they date others. I think it's a lot more fun that way.
Whitney and Jason are sort of still together, but they have dated other people all along. He just didn't seem interested in going to Homecoming and in a way, I was glad. I want her to go with a lot of different people and not have the same guy in every dance picture--even if he is cute.
