Hayden

It is coming up on Hayden's birthday soon. If I remember to take pictures, I will post them. I just wanted to share some cute things about my sweet Hayden. About 4 days before the actual mother's day, I came home from work and I was in the kitchen. Hayden drove his remote control truck into the kitchen and stopped it by my feet and he said-"I know it's not mothers day yet, but look down--see that thing in the back of the truck? Take that out, that's for mothers day". They had made lipgloss at school and he had put a cute flower sticker on it and drove it to me in his truck. (I need to get pictures--sometime).
The next thing is that the Sunday before mother's day, I was in the bathroom getting ready for church and Hayden came in and was chatting with me. I told him I didn't have enough time to paint my toenails, so they would have to just look bad. He asked me what color I was going to paint them, and he grabbed that color and he painted my nails while I finished my hair. Isn't that the sweetest little boy?
Last week, Katie called me at work and told me that Hayden didn't feel good and that she had felt his forehead and he was hot. I told her to go tell Whitney because there was nothing that I could do about it from work. Whitney had him come up to her room and she felt his forehead and he didn't feel warm to her. She asked him what was wrong and he said he felt sick. She asked him what he was sick with or what was going on and he said "regular sickness". She takes after her mother (who takes after her mother :)), so she said "I don't think you are sick, so if you stay home from school, I am going to print off a bunch of worksheets for you to do and you can't play today or tomorrow". He went right outside of her door and he fell to the floor and started to 'cough' and cry. It didn't work for her and he ended up going to school.
My writing of these moments doesn't do them justice, but suffice it to say, he is a cute kid. He is full of mischief and he can try to pull a fast one on you, but he really has a heart of gold.
