Sea World

On Easter Sunday we headed out from Grandma and Grandpa McQuivey's house to head to San Diego. When we were almost there, we had a friend text and say that we shouldn't go because there had been an earthquake. I didn't believe him and we were already almost there, so we got to the hotel and I asked them expecting them to laugh at me, but they confirmed that there had been an earthquake that day and that they had felt it. We did not see any visible damage but that night there were a couple of aftershocks that woke both Tracy and I up. Whitney said that she felt it too, but the other kids just slept right through them and they were 5.0 and 5.4 or something. We hoped that with the earthquake the day before and raining on Monday, there would not be too many people at Sea World--that did work pretty well for Monday. We went again on Tuesday and the weather was better and there were a lot more people.
We had a really good time. The kids love Sea World and getting to see the fun shows and all the animals. They also have a new ride called Atlantis that is really fun. We went on the ride on Monday and then everyone but Whitney and I went on it again on Tuesday--I snapped a couple pictures of them on the ride. We all had a great time and we enjoyed the time we spent together as a family.
