Hayden was supposed to get his cast off today--didn't happen. We went in to get it off and they x-rayed it and it wasn't quite ready. The Dr. said that it was 90% healed (really bad break). Dr. Penrod said that if it were Tracy or I, he would just take the cast off and say take it easy for a couple of weeks, but with Hayden, we all felt better about leaving one on. He did replace it with a water-proof cast that he can swim with or get wet. I guess we are in this one for a couple more weeks. It will be 8 weeks total if it comes off then.

That is so crazy he has to leave it on. At least they have water proof ones how cool is that? Let's just hope we can keep you guys away from the ER at least for the summer. ha ha
Hope it stays healed!! Poor kid, that's a long time.
